Most people who click a Las Vegas ad aren’t in Las Vegas yet. They are in Phoenix choosing a weekend show, in Montreal pricing a spring getaway, or in an office in Lyon booking a booth for January. A Google Ads agency Las Vegas companies rely on has to know where those searchers are, when they decide, and what Google allows for casinos, tickets, and hotel rooms. Référenceur runs its accounts out of two offices, one in Belgium and one in Luxembourg, and its specialists grew up speaking French, so ads aimed at Quebec, France, Belgium, or Switzerland are written by people who speak like their audience. We are a certified Google Partner with more than 15 years of experience. If you’d like a second opinion on your current account, request a free assessment.

Las Vegas Demand Starts Somewhere Else

Harry Reid International Airport handled about 55 million passengers in 2025, 5.9% fewer than in 2024, and international traffic fell 7.4% to 3.43 million, according to Clark County Department of Aviation figures reported by KSNV in January 2026. Nearly every one of those travelers searched for something before boarding. That makes location settings the first decision in a Las Vegas account, not a detail.

Google Ads gives you two main choices. The default, Presence or interest, also counts someone in Calgary who keeps reading about Las Vegas shows or searching for Strip hotels, not only people physically in the valley. The stricter Presence setting drops that second group and keeps the ads local. Google notes that hotel campaigns use only the Presence option, so in those campaigns you target the places where travelers live, not the place where the hotel stands.

Budgeting Around the Event Calendar

In Las Vegas, demand moves with conventions, fight nights, concerts, and holiday weekends, and costs per click can swing with it. The next CES, for example, runs January 6-9, 2027. A budget spread evenly across the month ignores how the city actually fills and empties.

Here is the checklist we work through for event-driven accounts:

  1. Build a calendar of the shows, sports events, and holidays that move your demand, with your own sales history beside it.
  2. Put event-specific keywords in separate campaigns so they can’t drain the budget of your year-round campaigns.
  3. Use seasonality adjustments in Smart Bidding before short, predictable spikes, and remove them afterward.
  4. Add negative keywords that filter job seekers, free-ticket hunters, and people looking for the event organizer rather than for you.
  5. Review search terms the week after each event and fold what you learned into the next one.

Casino, Ticket, and Hotel Ads: Policy Checks Before Launch

Hospitality advertisers in Las Vegas face rules that most businesses never touch. Two matter most.

First, gambling. Google Ads’ Gambling and games policy allows ads promoting legal, physical gambling establishments such as brick-and-mortar casinos, and the United States isn’t among the countries the policy lists as examples where offline gambling ads are prohibited. Online gambling follows separate, state-by-state rules: in the U.S., sportsbooks and online casinos must hold Google certification and a license in each state where they advertise, can target only those states, and can’t target users under 21. A resort promoting its casino floor and a sportsbook app promoting online betting are therefore two very different setups. We read the current policy page before each launch, because Google updates it regularly.

Second, prices. The FTC’s fee rule now requires hotels, vacation rentals, and live-event ticket sellers that show a price to display the total price, mandatory fees included, more prominently than any other pricing. The FTC’s own FAQ says this applies to ads that include a price, not only to booking pages. How a “from” price or a lowest-available rate should appear in your ads is a question for your attorney. We simply make sure the numbers in the ad, on the landing page, and at checkout tell the same story.

PPC in French-Speaking Markets for Las Vegas Companies

Figures the LVCVA published in May 2026 show a steep fall in Canadian visits for 2025. Fewer Canadian travelers means more competition for each one, and many of them search in French.

Running PPC in French-speaking markets for Las Vegas companies works best with a few firm rules:

  • Separate campaigns by market: Quebec on one side, France, Belgium, and Switzerland on the other. Budgets, seasons, and wording differ.
  • Language targeting set to French, with ads written natively rather than translated. A literal translation of an English slogan usually sounds off, and what feels natural in Montreal can sound foreign in Paris.
  • A French landing page for every French ad, with prices clearly labeled in U.S. dollars.
  • Ad schedules set to the searcher’s time zone: Eastern Time for Montreal, Central European Time for Paris and Brussels.

The same logic serves B2B companies. France sent the largest European delegation to CES 2026, according to Business France, and every exhibitor needs printers, staffing, transport, and venues. Our guide to Google Ads in French-speaking markets covers the setup in more depth, and our French market marketing agency page explains how ads fit with SEO and content in French.

You should be able to see exactly what we do in your account. Our Google Ads management for Las Vegas advertisers typically includes:

  • Conversion tracking first: calls, forms, bookings, and ticket sales passed back from your platform. Our Google Ads conversion tracking guide shows what a clean setup looks like.
  • Weekly search term reviews and shared negative keyword lists.
  • Bid strategy choices based on volume, with a written reason for each change.
  • Ad and asset testing, including French versions where relevant.
  • A careful look at Performance Max before using it for a hospitality brand, since it can put budget into searches for your own brand that you might have won anyway. Our Performance Max guide explains the trade-offs.
  • A monthly report and video call covering spend, cost per lead or booking, and the plan for the next month.

The account stays in your name, and you keep full access.

Remote Management While Las Vegas Sleeps

We have no office in Nevada or anywhere else in the U.S. Paid search runs entirely online, so what matters is how often someone looks at your account and how fast they react. Our team in Francorchamps and Wemperhardt checks campaigns during the European workday, which starts while Las Vegas is still asleep. Video calls, with screens shared, take place early in your morning.

If your ads need to reach residents, trip planners, convention buyers, and French-speaking travelers without wasting money on the wrong clicks, start with an honest look at your account. You will be working with a Belgian and Luxembourgish team that writes French ads natively and runs English ones every day. Get a Free Assessment. Frequently Asked Questions About Google Ads in Las Vegas

Should We Target People in Las Vegas or People Planning a Trip?

It depends on when your customers decide. Restaurants with walk-in traffic, nightlife, and same-day services do best with people already in town. Shows, tours, and weddings are often booked weeks ahead, so they need feeder markets too. Most visitor-facing businesses end up with both, in separate campaigns with separate budgets.

Can a Casino Resort Run Google Search Ads?

Yes, for a legal land-based casino, Google’s current policy allows it in the U.S. Online gambling is different and requires certification, plus compliance with each state’s rules. Policies change, so we check them before launch and keep ad copy clear of anything that could look like it targets minors.

How Do We Keep Convention Week From Eating the Whole Budget?

Give event keywords their own campaigns and budgets, set a daily cap you’re comfortable with, and decide in advance what a booking or lead is worth to you during the event. Then let bidding work within those limits. After the show, compare event leads with the rest of the month before deciding to repeat the spend.

Do French Ads Need a French Landing Page?

Yes. Sending a French-speaking visitor from a French ad to an English page wastes the click and can hurt the ad’s quality signals. The landing page doesn’t have to be a full French site. One well-written page per offer is often enough to start, and we write it ourselves.

What Do You Need From Us Before the First Campaign Goes Live?

Admin access to your Google Ads account (or permission to create one in your name), access to Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, your booking or ticketing platform details, and a list of your peak dates. With those, we can set up tracking and launch. If something is missing, tell us what you have and we will work around it.
